This section features artwork by Final Fantasy VI's character designer, Amano Yoshitaka. Amano was the character designer for Final Fantasy I until VI and for IX. He also designed all of the Final Fantasy logos.

Much of Amano's FFVI artwork can be seen in Final Fantasy Japan, an artbook that features select images from Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI. His The Sky artbook set contains every single Final Fantasy artwork he did (up to Final Fantasy X), including all his VI pictures.
